http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/renewables/wind-map will take you to a Met Office page which shows how their NCIC data compares to the older NOABL data. On the map if your turbine is in a red area then you can expect it to be windier than the NOABL database, and if in blue the opposite.
I wrote an article for the Scottish Farmer advertising this group which has come out in this week's renewables section. We are now up to 97 members - hopefully we'll be well over 100 by the end of the year.
I hope some of the new members will put up monthly production figures. Quite a few people are putting these up now and it helps show what the turbines can produce when it is windy and they are working properly.
